Well, I started the new sesh off proper today. I've been wanting to add in some more accessory lifts in, and today was the day. I've noticed a gain in strenght after increasing the protein intake. Glenn was in awe that i hadn't known that. He said something to the effect of "dumba$$" haha.
Went as follows;
OH Press
3 sets of 5 with 125, 115 and 115. We are doing a static overhead press, which is more difficult than using the leg push. I had to reduce the weight a little bit to get a good range of motion.
superset
Side raises 4 x 6 with 20lbs DB
reverse curls 4 x 8 with ez bar with 50 lbs or so
mainly went low weight again to concentrate on form
DB curls 12, 10, 8, 6, 6
with 25, 25, 30, 35, 40 lbs
I was screaming a little on the last set of curls. Overall, I felt very good. I don't have any lasting pain afterwards, which tells me I'm still in good shape after the last cycle. I'm looking forward to seeing some big gains after I up my intake of protein.
As for work, I'm still contemplating going PRN at the hospital. I just have a hard time getting motivated going to work and dealing with extremely non emergent patients. I get zero satisfaction from the ER. On the other hand, my flight job is amazing. I got in intubate a patient on the highway the other morning after they wrecked their vehicle. That was amazing!!

i did a curl once. don't remember liking it. i could use some overhead presses though. Just don't remember liking those either. As fer tubing folk on the road: that sounds like a good time. i guess you didn't stick it in her stomach then. 'Cuz that's just gotta be messy in a helo.

Why don't you just quit at the hospital and focus on what you really enjoy doing?
