change in plans

I have resigned my full time for part time in the flight position. I was getting bored of not doing anything all day. Since I have aspirations of going to CRNA school, I must get ICU experience. I have applied back to the very place the canned me over a year ago. I shall conquer and overcome! hehe

On a second note, I have decided to purchase my own workout station at my house. I too have grown tired of being stagnant. I very much like working out with G in his man gym, but I am married to a species that occaisionally makes statements without regard to rational thought. ;) So I think its going to make it easier to workout by walking 20 seconds to the barn vs an hour in drive time and an hour plus at glenns. So... that being said... Im proud of both yas that youve made a great effort in weight and school.

Hello-

I've decided to post at least one blog for the month of April.

Update.. Alyssa Wren is now almost 14 weeks or 3 and 1/2 months old. She is wolfing down about 6 oz per sitting. When she gets sleepy, Im glad she can't shoot lazers outta her eyes!! geez!! Its not really pleasant at all to be quite honest. Im still going in between like and dislike with the child thing.. props to you two! Im going to use you both as siblings, cause I ain't doin it again! ;)

The mrs and i are still waiting to hear about jobs in D-town.. I have a confirmed PRN job for a nursing agency. I have heard that we are moving to a 4-4 schedule here at omniflight. What that means is that we will staff 4 nurses and 4 medics, and work every 4th day, ie work sunday, off mon, tues, wed, work thurs. I think I can drive from dallas and keep that job for as little time we actually work and the amount I get paid. I've figured in around 600 a month for fuel for my toyota. Not terrible.

Mrs is getting apprehensive that she wont be able to find a job. I've tried telling her that there are plenty of openings, and we will find her one.. so keep her in your thoughts if ya will.

I guess that's about it. Im fat and lazy...

T-minus 4 days

So its now 6 am... I have officially been up since 4 am. I fed the wee one, and afterward thought to myself, whats the use in going back to sleep. About the time I got into REM sleep it would be time to wake up, right? Therefore making it more difficult to get out of bed. Even as tempting as my wife's warm ass is, I couldn't sacrifice being pissy.

Wren is sleeping more and more through the night. Which makes for a sound evening! Good grief its cold here...

Probably looking at moving soon.. 6 months is a very near possibility, but I can't say for certain. Oh well... I'd like to end up somewhere mountainous in the next 5 yrs.. chow

withdrawing

well... seeing as how the stress levels are rising now, with colic and screaming and such.. and seeing as how I have zero outlet now, no gym time, no sleep, nothing with which to vent upon other than the inner side of my cranial vault.. I am dropping out of this semester at USC. (university of scurry county)

Lemme splain... I have zilch for a memory, which I have learned is a side effect of stress as well. I forgot completely about 3, count em THA-REE, tests until last night at 9:30. Each par time was 2 hours. needless to say, I didn't even attempt any of them. Im kinda pissed at my family, partly because I think its their fault. If they hadn't been up my ass about coming to a birthday party of some foster children, and seeing alyssa... I woulda been at m'abode with plenty of time to spare to fail these tests on my own ....whatever...

I even had an ok grade in chemistry, which I was proud of. I was doing all the reading and watching all the online videos. I had around an 87. Plenty of room to bring that up with a few good test grades. Minus the one ding for not posting the correct amount of responses on a discussion board! Beside that fact that all of my answers were correct, I didn't congradulate enough of my cohorts on reaching the same conclusion and therefore earned a 67/100 on each post. That dinged the grade a tad.

I've resigned to the fact that I can go back to school another time. On the upstroke, I did find a school in the metroplex that don't require nutrition or chemistry.. hehe.. I think I already meet all the prereqs, so all that's left is to call these people... "Hello. Could I give you some of my hard earned wampum in return for no education and a slip of pressed tree pulp that says Im smart, so's I can use said slip and gain acceptance into yet another institution of higher learning?"

man I feel quite skeptical this morning. polar opposite of my last post huh...

things looking up

the routine is getting more and more settled. Im gonna start taking nights, and mommy is gonna take days, since I can function further into the evening than she can. It has been working out pretty well. We actually got out of the house and into Abilene yesterday with the wee one. Mommy did well, although she did get rather stressed, which happens when she gets sleepy. So Im still unsure about outings in the near future just yet.

Im really getting pumped about our lives in the near future. All of ours.... I think we are all fixing to take a major turn for the awesome, because we're all so driven... hehe
